Stat. tit. 26, § 26-6-102.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this title, the following definitions shall apply to\n\ncounties using voting devices:\n\n1. “Ballot” means a printed paper document upon which votes for\n\nvarious offices or measures may be marked;\n\n2. “Count” means the process by which votes marked on a ballot\n\ncard are examined manually or electronically by a voting device and\n\na determination is made as to whom or for what the votes are cast;\n\n3. “Election results storage medium” means the apparatus which\n\ncontains electronic instructions for a voting device and in which\n\nelectronic results are stored;\n\n4. “Results” means the manual or electronic tabulation of the\n\nvotes counted for a candidate or issue;\n\n5. “Seal” means a device or devices prescribed by the Secretary\n\nof the State Election Board to permit detection of opening or\n\ntampering with contents of voting devices, ballot boxes, transfer\n\ncases and election results storage media;\n\n6. “Transfer case” means a container, prescribed by the\n\nSecretary of the State Election Board, which can be closed and\n\nsealed and is constructed so as to, when sealed, prevent accidental\n\nopening or opening by any other reasonable means, except by\n\nremoving, breaking, tearing or otherwise damaging the seal so if\n\nopened by any means it would be obvious in the normal situation that\n\nthe container had been subject to tampering; and\n\n7. “Voting device” means an optical scanning apparatus that\n\nelectronically counts votes marked on ballots and produces printed\n\nresults.","path":["OK Code","Title 26"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os26.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c36a0b55244df5bd3365ac1daf5f9faef699c4a13ebce32301d942fd11da1c3e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-26-26-6-102","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-26-26-6-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
