Stat. tit. 26, § 26-6-107","heading":"Order of names for absentee ballots for primary","body":"Immediately following the close of the filing period prescribed\n\nby law, the Secretary of the State Election Board shall determine\n\nthe order in which the name of each candidate for each of the\n\noffices shall appear on the absentee ballots printed for the Primary\n\nElection. The determination shall be at a drawing conducted in a\n\npublic meeting in which the names of all candidates for each office\n\nof each political party shall be drawn from a receptacle. In the\n\nevent that a candidate withdraws or is removed from the ballot as a\n\nresult of a successful contest of candidacy after the drawing is\n\nconducted, the withdrawn or removed candidate shall be deleted and\n\nthe order of any remaining candidates in the race shall be adjusted\n\naccordingly.
