Each state environmental agency in promulgation of permanent\n\nrules within its areas of environmental jurisdiction, prior to the\n\nsubmittal to public comment and review of any rule that is more\n\nstringent than corresponding federal requirements, unless such\n\nstringency is specifically authorized by state statute, shall duly\n\ndetermine the economic impact and the environmental benefit of such\n\nrule on the people of the State of Oklahoma including those entities\n\nthat will be subject to the rule. Such determination shall be in\n\nwritten form.\n\nB. Such economic impact and environmental benefit statement of\n\na proposed permanent rule shall be issued prior to or within fifteen\n\n(15) days after the date of publication of the notice of the\n\nproposed permanent rule adoption. The statement may be modified\n\nafter any hearing or comment period afforded pursuant to Article I\n\nof the Administrative Procedures Act.\n\nC. The economic impact and environmental benefit statement\n\nshall be submitted to the Governor pursuant to Section 303.1 of\n\nTitle 75 of the Oklahoma Statutes and to the Legislature pursuant to\n\nSection 308 of Title 75 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Such reports\n\nsubmitted to the Governor and to the Legislature shall include a\n\nbrief summary of any public comments made concerning the statement\n\nand any response by the agency to the public comments demonstrating\n\na reasoned evaluation of the relative impacts and benefits of the\n\nmore stringent regulation.","path":["OK Code","Title 27A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os27A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c0ce72d691b884bc10625e64af36d7444b1e2545a01a8c8411c29617b20b57c6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-27a-27a-1-1-205","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-27a-27a-1-1-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
