Stat. tit. 27A, § 27A-2-11-101","heading":"Recycling of waste - Studies","body":"The Department of Environmental Quality shall provide for the\n\ndevelopment of a prioritized agenda of studies necessary to provide\n\ninformation to facilitate the design and implementation of recycling\n\ninitiatives. Such studies may include, but not be limited to:\n\n1. Waste composition analyses for urban and rural areas;\n\n2. Surveys to delineate the knowledge, opinions, and\n\npreferences of Oklahoma citizens and businesses with respect to\n\nrecycling;\n\n3. A range of municipal recycling demonstration projects;\n\n4. Yard waste composting demonstration projects to assist in\n\nreclaiming strip-mined land;\n\n5. An assessment of management options for hard-to-handle\n\nwastes such as lead-acid batteries, used motor oil, and white goods;\n\nand\n\n6. An assessment, in cooperation with the Department of\n\nCommerce, of the condition of markets for materials which are being\n\nor could be recovered from the municipal solid waste stream in\n\nOklahoma.\n\nIt is the intent of the Legislature that as funds become\n\navailable, the Department of Environmental Quality shall cause the\n\nstudies specified by this section to be conducted.","path":["OK Code","Title 27A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os27A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c2b4ce5f4c196402173a73d60204c9c772ff2a9bd2f9123cdba1288be66a3845","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-27a-27a-2-10-902","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-27a-27a-2-11-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
