Stat. tit. 27A, § 27A-2-14-202","heading":"Department of Environmental Quality - Powers and","body":"duties.\n\nA. The Department is hereby authorized to implement and enforce\n\nthe provisions of the Oklahoma Uniform Environmental Permitting Act\n\nand rules promulgated thereunder.\n\nB. In addition to authority under the Oklahoma Environmental\n\nQuality Code, the Department shall have the power and duty to:\n\n1. Evaluate applications for administrative and technical\n\ncompleteness pursuant to requirements of the Code and rules\n\npromulgated thereunder and, when necessary to determine such\n\ncompleteness, request changes, revisions, corrections, or\n\nsupplemental submissions;\n\n2. Evaluate notices related to applications for sufficiency of\n\ncontent and compliance and require that omissions or inaccuracies be\n\ncured;\n\n3. Consider timely and relevant comments received;\n\n4. Prepare responses to comments, draft and final denials, and\n\ndraft, proposed and final permits;\n\n5. Cooperate with federal agencies as is required for federal\n\nreview or oversight of state permitting programs;\n\n6. Consolidate processes related to multiple, pending\n\napplications filed by the same applicant for the same facility or\n\nsite in accordance with rules of the Board; and\n\n7.
