Stat. tit. 27A, § 27A-2-14-303","heading":"Public meeting - Procedure","body":"The Department shall expeditiously schedule and hold a formal\n\npublic meeting if the Department receives written timely request for\n\nsuch meeting, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2-14-302 of this\n\ntitle, and determines there is a significant degree of public\n\ninterest in the draft denial or draft permit.\n\n1. Notice of the meeting shall be given to the public at least\n\nthirty (30) days prior to the meeting date.\n\n2. The public meeting shall be held at a location convenient to\n\nand near the proposed new site or existing facility not more than\n\none hundred twenty (120) days after the date notice of the draft\n\ndenial or draft permit was published.\n\n3. At the meeting, any person may submit oral or written\n\nstatements and data concerning the draft permit. Reasonable limits\n\nmay be set upon the time allowed for oral statements.\n\n4. The public comment period shall automatically be extended to\n\nthe close of the public meeting. Upon good cause shown, the\n\npresiding officer may extend the comment period further to a date\n\ncertain by so stating at the meeting.\n\n5. Such meeting shall not be a quasi-judicial proceeding.\n\n6.
