Stat. tit. 27A, § 27A-2-3-301","heading":"Renewal of license - Renewal fee - Penalty fee -","body":"Promulgation of rules.\n\nThe holder of any license issued under the provisions of this\n\nCode which is renewable by payment of a fee shall be entitled to\n\nthirty (30) days after the expiration date thereof in which to renew\n\nthe same, without penalty, and if he fails to pay the renewal fee\n\nwithin such thirty-day period, he shall, unless otherwise provided\n\nin this Code, be required to pay the renewal fee plus a penalty fee\n\nin an amount as promulgated by rule. Such penalty fee shall not\n\nexceed the amount of the renewal fee. In the case of any renewal\n\nfee which shall exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), the\n\npenalty fee shall be one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month of\n\nthe outstanding balance of the renewal fee.
