Stat. tit. 27A, § 27A-2-4-303","heading":"Applications for accreditation - Form and manner -","body":"On-site evaluations - Issuance or denial of accreditation.\n\nA. Applications for accreditation shall be made in the form and\n\nmanner established by the Department of Environmental Quality.\n\nB. The Department may make on-site evaluations of applicant\n\nlaboratories.\n\nC. 1. Based upon completion of the criteria evaluation by the\n\nDepartment or other evaluations, the Department shall either issue\n\nor deny accreditation to an applicant laboratory.\n\n2. Only those laboratories that meet Department rules shall be\n\naccredited. Letters of accreditation shall be issued only for the\n\ncategories or analytes for which the capabilities and adequacy of\n\nthe laboratory have been demonstrated.\n\n3. Causes for denial of an application shall include, but not\n\nbe limited to, the misrepresentation of or the omission of fact or\n\nfacts from any accreditation application or the failure to\n\ndemonstrate compliance with Board rules.
