The Board shall promulgate rules as may be necessary to\n\nimplement the provisions of this part pertaining to water supply\n\nsystems and the treatment and distribution of water to the public,\n\nincluding but not limited to rules for:\n\n1. The construction and extension of such systems;\n\n2. Specifications and directions as to the source, manner of\n\nstorage, purification, treatment and distribution of water supplied\n\nto the public;\n\n3. Requirements for control tests, laboratory checks, operating\n\nrecords and reports, including the submission of water samples for\n\ntesting or sample analyses as prescribed by the federal Safe\n\nDrinking Water Act and this Code; and\n\n4. Permitting requirements.\n\nB. The Department of Environmental Quality shall recommend\n\nstandards to the public for individual water supplies.\n\nC.
