A permit issued by the Executive Director of the Department\n\nof Environmental Quality shall be required for Class I, III, IV and\n\nV injection wells pursuant to the federal Safe Drinking Water Act\n\nand 40 CFR Parts 144 through 148, inclusive, except for:\n\n1. Class V injection wells utilized in the remediation of\n\ngroundwater associated with underground and aboveground storage\n\ntanks regulated by the Corporation Commission; and\n\n2. Wells used for the recovery, injection or disposal of\n\nmineral brines as defined in the Oklahoma Brine Development Act\n\nregulated by the Corporation Commission.\n\nB.
