Any district organized under the Conservation District Act\n\nshall have power to serve as a local agency for operating and\n\nmaintaining any project or program concerned with the conservation\n\nof renewable natural resources that is administered by any local,\n\nstate, interstate or federal public agency, by entering into a\n\ncontract or other appropriate administrative arrangement with the\n\nagency administering such project or program.\n\nB. In serving as such local agency for any such project or\n\nprogram, the district may use any authority or funds available to it\n\nunder the Conservation District Act which are required for such\n\npurposes.\n\nC. 1. Any agency of the government of this state and any local\n\npolitical subdivision of this state is hereby authorized to make\n\nsuch arrangements with any district, through contract, regulation or\n\nother appropriate means, wherever it believes that such arrangements\n\nwill promote administrative efficiency or economy.\n\n2. In connection with any such arrangements, any state or local\n\nagency or political subdivision of this state is authorized, within\n\nthe limits of funds available to it, to contribute funds, equipment,\n\nproperty or services to any district; and to collaborate with a\n\ndistrict in jointly planning, constructing, financing or operating\n\nany work or activity provided for in such arrangements and in\n\njointly acquiring, maintaining and operating equipment or facilities\n\nin connection therewith.\n\nD.
