This article shall be known and may be cited as the\n\n\"Oklahoma Emergency Response Act\".\n\nB. The purpose of the Oklahoma Emergency Response Act is to:\n\n1. Provide a rapid, coordinated and effective network for\n\nresponse to dangerous substances incidents or events necessary to\n\nprotect the public health and safety and the environment of this\n\nstate, and to preserve property;\n\n2. Provide direction and information to responders for the\n\nmanagement of dangerous substances incidents or events;\n\n3. Reduce duplication of effort between local, county and state\n\nentities; and\n\n4.
