Stat. tit. 28, § 28-106","heading":"Clerk to hold costs or fees for person entitled - Time for","body":"filing claims.\n\nIt shall be the duty of the court clerk receiving any costs or\n\nfees belonging to any other person, to deposit the same in the court\n\nfund subject to the order of the person entitled thereto, and to pay\n\nthe same over on request; and if such costs or fees shall not be\n\nclaimed by the end of the fiscal year following the fiscal year of\n\nreceipt, except in all cases where jurisdiction is continuing, and\n\nby the end of the fiscal year after the year in which final judgment\n\nis granted, they shall become the property of the court fund,\n\nprovided that any unexpended court costs or money belonging to\n\nlitigants shall be mailed by the court clerk to the proper attorney\n\nof record.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 3246.
