Stat. tit. 28, § 28-50","heading":"Fees of public weigher - Lien for fee","body":"A public weigher, or any deputy weigher, shall receive for his\n\nservices in weighing any article, the following schedule of fees:\n\nten cents ($0.10) for each load or draft weight separately:\n\nProvided, that such public weigher shall not be allowed compensation\n\nfor any extra weighing which may be essential in determining the net\n\nweight of any article or load. The public weigher, or any deputy\n\nweigher, shall be allowed and is hereby granted a lien upon any\n\narticle or product weighed for the fees above mentioned, and such\n\nfee shall attach to and follow such article into the hands of the\n\npurchaser, and shall not be barred or canceled by any sale or\n\ntransfer of such article during the day upon which the article is\n\nweighed: Provided, that deputy weighers shall be allowed to retain\n\nas their compensation the sum of eight cents ($0.08) for each load\n\nor draft weighed separately; the residue of the price allowed\n\nhereunder shall be paid by the deputies to the county weigher at the\n\nclose of the month.","path":["OK Code","Title 28"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os28.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"38185f9ddaef8a640232cbd57a91adec84f949beef03c36bba58ac82c60b193e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-28-28-5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-28-28-56"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
