There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund to be known as the Wildlife Conservation Fund, which shall\n\nconsist of all monies heretofore or hereafter appropriated to, on\n\ndeposit in, or credited to the State Game and Fish Fund created by\n\nSection 115 of Title 29 of the 1951 Oklahoma Statutes, and, in\n\naddition thereto, all license fees, penalties, fines or forfeitures\n\nand bond forfeitures collected by the state, any subdivision\n\nthereof, any public official or any other person for the violation\n\nof the wildlife conservation laws of this state, and all donations\n\nfor such purposes as well as all monies received by the Department\n\nand all interest accruing therefrom. All monies accruing to the\n\nfund shall be subject to the following budgetary limitations:\n\n1. Full-time-equivalent employees;\n\n2. Personal services expenditures;\n\n3. Federal fund expenditures; and\n\n4. Total expenditures.\n\nB. The expenditures of the Wildlife Conservation Fund shall be\n\nunder the control and supervision of the Commission, and all claims\n\nagainst said fund shall be paid on its itemized voucher form,\n\nprepared by said Commission and sworn to by the claimant, and/or\n\nvendor's invoices as authorized under Section 86.1, Title 74 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes. All such claims when duly signed and sworn to\n\nshall be audited by the Commission and/or designated employees and,\n\nupon final approval, vouchers which are payable from said fund shall\n\nbe forwarded to the Director of the Office of Management and\n\nEnterprise Services. Upon approval thereof, warrants shall issue\n\naccording to law, and said warrants shall be paid by the State\n\nTreasurer from said fund. A reserve fund of not less than One\n\nHundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) shall be maintained to be\n\nused in emergencies only, by and with the consent of the Governor,\n\nand an additional reserve fund of not less than Two Hundred Thousand\n\nDollars ($200,000.00) shall be maintained for the liquidation of\n\nunissued licenses purchased by authorized agents for sale which have\n\nremained unsold when such unissued licenses are returned for refunds\n\nas provided for by law.\n\nC. All fees, monies or funds arising from the operation and\n\ntransactions of the Commission and from the application and\n\nadministration of the laws and regulations pertaining to the\n\nwildlife resources of the state and from the sale of property used\n\nfor said purposes shall be expended and used by said Commission for\n\nthe control, management, restoration, conservation and regulation of\n\nthe wildlife resources of the state, including the purchase or other\n\nacquisition of property for said purposes, and for the\n\nadministration of the laws pertaining thereto and for no other\n\npurposes.","path":["OK Code","Title 29"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os29.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bd969152628f2abb67a7d2e9afac29a45c8ed2667c159d1e5f91f2544ffab40f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-29-29-3-301","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-29-29-3-303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
