Except as otherwise provided by subsection B of this\n\nsection, no person may take for commercial purposes, by the use of\n\nnets, traps, seines and other similar devices, turtles from this\n\nstate without having first procured a commercial turtle harvester\n\nlicense from the Director.\n\nB. Any person having procured a commercial turtle harvester\n\nlicense, pursuant to subsection A of this section, may take for\n\ncommercial purposes by any means, or assist in any such operations,\n\nturtles or aquatic turtles from any waters of this state, except\n\nfrom waters located within a city, town or municipality, and such\n\nareas designated pursuant to Section 1452 of Title 82 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes.\n\nC. Prior to the issuance of each license, the applicant must\n\nfile with the Director a true inventory of the equipment to be\n\nutilized in the operations of that turtle harvester. Such inventory\n\nshall be kept current. The inventory may be amended by filing a new\n\ninventory at any time.\n\nD. The fee for a license under this section shall be Forty\n\nDollars ($40.00) for residents and Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for\n\nnonresidents of the State of Oklahoma.\n\nE. The Director shall not issue a commercial turtle harvester\n\nlicense to residents of any other state which does not allow\n\nresidents of Oklahoma the opportunity to purchase such license in\n\ntheir state.\n\nF. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this\n\nsection shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred\n\nDollars ($100.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or by\n\nimprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed thirty\n\n(30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nG.
