Stat. tit. 29, § 29-4-106","heading":"Commercial hunting area licenses - Big game or upland","body":"game.\n\nA. No person may propagate or hold in captivity any wildlife or\n\ndomesticated animals hunted for sport for commercial hunting area\n\npurposes without having procured a license from the Director of the\n\nDepartment of Wildlife Conservation. Licenses shall be classified\n\nas big game, upland game, or a combination of big game and upland\n\ngame.\n\n1. A big game license shall be required for legally acquired\n\nexotic ungulates, domesticated animals so designated by the Oklahoma\n\nWildlife Conservation Commission, exotic swine, and legally acquired\n\nwhitetail and mule deer, turkey and other species of big game\n\nlawfully taken under the provisions of subsection A of Section 5-411\n\nand Section 5-401 of this title. Wildlife that has been crossbred\n\nwith exotic wildlife shall be considered native and not exotic\n\nunless documentation shows otherwise.\n\n2. An upland game license shall be required for legally\n\nacquired captive-raised pheasants, all species of quail, Indian\n\nchukars, water fowl, and other similar or suitable gallinaceous\n\nbirds; and shall include turkey if no other big game species are\n\nlisted on the license/application.\n\nB. Before obtaining a license or a renewal of a license the\n\napplicant shall submit proof that such wildlife or domesticated\n\nanimals hunted for sport will be or have been secured from a source\n\nother than the wild stock in this state. Any person obtaining or\n\nrenewing a license shall submit a true and complete inventory of\n\nsaid animals before a license shall be approved. Each license shall\n\nspecifically list the different species and/or subspecies to be\n\nhunted on the listed hunting area or premises.\n\nC. Any game warden of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife\n\nConservation shall have authority to inspect any and all records and\n\ninvoices pertaining to the commercial hunting operations of any\n\nperson licensed or requesting licensure pursuant to this section and\n\nadditionally shall have the authority to inspect any and all\n\nfacilities, equipment and property connected to the hunting\n\noperation of any person licensed or requesting licensure pursuant to\n\nthis section.\n\nD. 1. The annual fee for a commercial hunting area license for\n\nupland game under this section shall be One Hundred Dollars\n\n($100.00).\n\n2. The annual fee for a commercial hunting area license for:\n\na. big game pursuant to this section shall be Two Hundred\n\nFifty Dollars ($250.00), or\n\nb. a combination of big game and upland game pursuant to\n\nthis section shall be Three Hundred Fifty Dollars\n\n($350.00).\n\nE. All licenses issued pursuant to this section shall expire on\n\nJune 30 of each year.\n\nF. Exemptions from this license requirement shall be operators\n\nof running pens used for the performance test or training of dogs.\n\nOperators of such running pens may acquire coyotes from wild stock\n\nwithout having to possess a fur dealer's license for such purpose\n\nand no license shall be required of those involved in performance\n\ntesting or training dogs in such running pens so long as no other\n\nwildlife are taken or hunted in any manner.\n\nG. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this\n\nsection shall be punished by a fine of not less than Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00) nor more than One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($1,500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed\n\nsixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nH. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this\n\nsection shall have the commercial hunting area license revoked. No\n\nnew license shall be issued for a period of six (6) months from and\n\nafter the date on which the revocation order becomes effective.\n\nI.
