Except as otherwise provided for in the Oklahoma Wildlife\n\nConservation Code or the Oklahoma Farmed Cervidae Act, no person may\n\nhunt, pursue, trap, harass, catch, kill, take or attempt to take in\n\nany manner, use, have in possession, sell, or transport all or any\n\nportion of any wildlife except fish, without having first procured a\n\nlicense from the Department of Wildlife Conservation. The Oklahoma\n\nWildlife Conservation Commission shall designate a consecutive\n\nSaturday and Sunday in September of each year as free hunting days\n\nin which residents of this state may hunt without first procuring a\n\nhunting license pursuant to the provisions of this section.\n\nB. The following legal residents of Oklahoma shall be exempt\n\nfrom the annual hunting license requirement of paragraph 1 of\n\nsubsection F of this section and the following nonresidents shall be\n\nexempt from the annual nonresident hunting licenses required\n\npursuant to paragraph 1 of subsection C of this section:\n\n1. Legal residents under eighteen (18) years of age;\n\n2. Legal residents sixty-five (65) years of age or older\n\nprovided they have obtained a senior citizen lifetime hunting or\n\ncombination hunting and fishing license pursuant to the provisions\n\nof Section 4-114 of this title;\n\n3. Legal resident veterans having a disability of sixty percent\n\n(60%) or more and registered with the veterans registry created by\n\nthe Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs; provided, that if the\n\nveteran has previously received an exemption pursuant to this\n\nparagraph, no registration with the veterans registry shall be\n\nrequired;\n\n4. Legal resident owners or tenants who hunt on land owned or\n\nleased by them;\n\n5. Any nonresident under eighteen (18) years of age;\n\n6. Legal residents having a proven disability which renders\n\nthem nonambulatory and confines them to a wheelchair, as certified\n\nby a physician licensed in this state or in any state which borders\n\nthis state;\n\n7. Any legal resident or nonresident under eighteen (18) years\n\nof age who is in the physical custody of a child care facility as\n\ndefined by Section 402 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes; and\n\n8. Any legal resident or nonresident hunting, pursuing,\n\ntrapping, harassing, catching, killing, taking, or attempting to\n\ntake in any manner any species of rattlesnake during an organized\n\nrattlesnake-hunting event or festival and who has a rattlesnake\n\npermit issued pursuant to Section 4-143 of this title.\n\nC. Except as otherwise provided for in the Oklahoma Wildlife\n\nConservation Code, the nonresident hunting licenses issued pursuant\n\nto this section and the fee for each license shall be:\n\n1. Annual hunting license for nonresidents which expires one\n\n(1) year after the date of issuance – Two Hundred Eight Dollars\n\n($208.00);\n\n2. Gun hunting license for deer for nonresidents which shall be\n\nvalid for hunting all deer allowed during the current calendar year\n\ndeer gun season - Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) in addition to the\n\nnonresident annual hunting license required in paragraph 1 of this\n\nsubsection;\n\n3. Archery hunting license for deer for nonresidents which\n\nshall expire on January 15 of the calendar year after the year\n\npurchased or, if purchased during the deer archery season, it shall\n\nexpire at the end of that deer archery season - Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) in addition to the nonresident annual hunting license\n\nrequired in paragraph 1 of this subsection;\n\n4. Primitive firearms hunting license for deer for nonresidents\n\nwhich shall be valid for hunting all deer allowed during the current\n\ncalendar year deer primitive firearms season - Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) in addition to the nonresident annual hunting license\n\nrequired in paragraph 1 of this subsection;\n\n5. Hunting license for antelope for nonresidents – Five Hundred\n\nFive Dollars ($505.00);\nPrimitive firearms hunting license for deer for nonresidents\n\nwhich shall be valid for hunting all deer allowed during the current\n\ncalendar year deer primitive firearms season - Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) in addition to the nonresident annual hunting license\n\nrequired in paragraph 1 of this subsection;\n\n5. Hunting license for antelope for nonresidents – Five Hundred\n\nFive Dollars ($505.00);\n\n6. Hunting license for elk for nonresidents – Five Hundred Five\n\nDollars ($505.00);\n\n7. Five-day hunting license for nonresidents hunting game other\n\nthan deer, antelope, elk, quail, turkey, bear, or waterfowl –\n\nSeventy-four Dollars ($74.00);\n\n8. Annual youth hunting license for nonresidents under eighteen\n\n(18) years of age, which shall include all species and all seasons\n\nfor which a hunting license is required – One Hundred Fifty Dollars\n\n($150.00);\n\n9. Five-day youth hunting license for nonresidents under\n\neighteen (18) years of age, which shall include all species and all\n\nseasons for which a hunting license is required – Seventy-five\n\nDollars ($75.00); and\n\n10. Five-day hunting license for nonresidents hunting winged\n\nupland game, excluding wild turkey, in a commercial hunting area –\n\nFifteen Dollars ($15.00).\n\nD. These licenses shall be required for hunting in a commercial\n\nhunt area:\n\n1. Five-day hunting license for nonresidents hunting big game\n\nor combination big game – Seventy-four Dollars ($74.00);\n\n2. Ten-day hunting license for nonresidents hunting small game\n\nand upland winged game, excluding turkeys – Twenty Dollars ($20.00);\n\n3. Annual hunting license for nonresidents hunting big game or\n\ncombination big game – One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($175.00);\n\nand\n\n4. Five-day hunting license for nonresidents hunting winged\n\nupland game, excluding wild turkey, in a commercial hunting area –\n\nFifteen Dollars ($15.00).\n\nE. For the purpose of hunting in a commercial hunting area,\n\nnonresidents who acquire a license pursuant to subsection D of this\n\nsection shall be exempted from licensure requirements in subsection\n\nC of this section.\n\nF. Except as otherwise provided, the resident hunting licenses\n\nissued pursuant to this section and the fee for each license shall\n\nbe:\n\n1. Annual hunting license for residents eighteen (18) years of\n\nage and older – Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00);\n\n2. Annual youth hunting license for residents under eighteen\n\n(18) years of age, which shall include all species and all season\n\nfor which a hunting license is required – Twenty-five Dollars\n\n($25.00);\n\n3. Ten-day hunting license for residents for small game and\n\nupland winged game, excluding wild turkeys in a commercial hunting\n\narea - Five Dollars ($5.00);\n\n4. Five-year disability hunting combination hunting/fishing\n\nlicense for residents for at least six (6) months who are receiving\n\nSocial Security Disability benefits, Supplemental Security Income\n\nbenefits or disability benefits under the Railroad Retirement Act,\n\n45 U.S.C.A., Section 231a, or residents who are one-hundred-percent\n\ndisabled and are receiving disability payments from the Multiple\n\nInjury Trust Fund pursuant to Section 31 of Title 85A of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes - Twenty Dollars ($20.00);\n\n5. Gun hunting license for deer for residents eighteen (18)\n\nyears of age or older, which shall include all deer allowed for\n\nharvesting during gun season - Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00). The\n\nfollowing persons shall be exempt:\n\na. residents with proper certification from the United\n\nStates Department of Veterans Affairs or its\n\nsuccessor, certifying that the person is a disabled\n\nveteran in receipt of compensation at the one-hundred-\n\npercent rate and registered with the veterans registry\n\ncreated by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans\n\nAffairs; provided that if the veteran has previously\n\nreceived an exemption pursuant to this subparagraph,\n\nno registration with the veterans registry shall be\n\nrequired, and\nairs or its\n\nsuccessor, certifying that the person is a disabled\n\nveteran in receipt of compensation at the one-hundred-\n\npercent rate and registered with the veterans registry\n\ncreated by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans\n\nAffairs; provided that if the veteran has previously\n\nreceived an exemption pursuant to this subparagraph,\n\nno registration with the veterans registry shall be\n\nrequired, and\n\nb. residents hunting in big game or combination big game\n\nand upland game commercial hunting areas;\n\n6. Archery hunting license for deer for residents eighteen (18)\n\nyears of age or older, which shall include all deer allowed for\n\nharvesting during archery season - Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00).\n\nThe following persons shall be exempt:\n\na. residents with proper certification from the United\n\nStates Department of Veterans Affairs or its\n\nsuccessor, certifying that the person is a disabled\n\nveteran in receipt of compensation at the one-hundred-\n\npercent rate and registered with the veterans registry\n\ncreated by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans\n\nAffairs; provided that if the veteran has previously\n\nreceived an exemption pursuant to this subparagraph,\n\nno registration with the veterans registry shall be\n\nrequired, and\n\nb. residents hunting in big game or combination big game\n\nand upland game commercial hunting areas;\n\n7. Primitive firearms hunting license for deer for residents\n\neighteen (18) years of age or older, which shall include all deer\n\nallowed for harvesting during primitive firearm season - Thirty-five\n\nDollars ($35.00). The following persons shall be exempt:\n\na. residents with proper certification from the United\n\nStates Department of Veterans Affairs or its\n\nsuccessor, certifying that the person is a disabled\n\nveteran in receipt of compensation at the one-hundred-\n\npercent rate and registered with the veterans registry\n\ncreated by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans\n\nAffairs; provided that if the veteran has previously\n\nreceived an exemption pursuant to this subparagraph,\n\nno registration with the veterans registry shall be\n\nrequired, and\n\nb. residents hunting in big game or combination big game\n\nand upland game commercial hunting areas;\n\n8. Hunting license for elk for residents - Fifty Dollars\n\n($50.00). Residents hunting in big game or combination big game and\n\nupland game commercial hunting areas shall be exempt from this\n\nlicense;\n\n9. Hunting license for antelope for residents – Fifty Dollars\n\n($50.00). Residents hunting in big game or combination big game and\n\nupland game commercial hunting areas shall be exempt from this\n\nlicense.\n\nG. The provisions of this section shall not be construed to\n\nrequire a hunting license, resident or nonresident, of any person\n\nmerely because the person participates, as owner or handler of an\n\nentry, as an official, or as a spectator in the conduct of a field\n\ntrial or performance test of dogs, whether a resident or nonresident\n\nof the State of Oklahoma. No license to hunt shall be required of\n\nany person engaged in training or working dogs, provided that person\n\nis in no way engaged in hunting and does not take or attempt to take\n\nin any manner any game.\n\nH. 1. Any person arrested for hunting game other than deer,\n\nantelope, elk, bear or turkey without a valid hunting license as\n\nrequired by the provisions of subsection A of this section may\n\npurchase a substitute temporary thirty-day license from the\n\narresting game warden in lieu of posting bond. Proof of hunter\n\nsafety certification will not be required for the temporary\n\nsubstitute license. The fee for a substitute license purchased\n\npursuant to the provisions of this subsection shall be:\n\na. for legal residents, One Hundred Dollars ($100.00),\n\nand\n\nb. for nonresidents, Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).\n\n2. Except as otherwise provided for by this subsection, the\n\nfees from licenses purchased pursuant to the provisions of this\nill not be required for the temporary\n\nsubstitute license. The fee for a substitute license purchased\n\npursuant to the provisions of this subsection shall be:\n\na. for legal residents, One Hundred Dollars ($100.00),\n\nand\n\nb. for nonresidents, Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).\n\n2. Except as otherwise provided for by this subsection, the\n\nfees from licenses purchased pursuant to the provisions of this\n\nsubsection shall be deposited in the Wildlife Conservation Fund to\n\nbe used exclusively for developing, managing, preserving, and\n\nprotecting wildlife and wildlife habitat.\n\nI. Any person producing proof in court that a current hunting\n\nlicense issued by the Department of Wildlife Conservation to that\n\nperson was in force at the time of the alleged offense shall be\n\nentitled to dismissal of a charge of violating this section upon\n\npayment of court costs. If proof of a current hunting license\n\nissued by the Department to the person that was in force at the time\n\nof the alleged offense is presented to the court or district\n\nattorney within seventy-two (72) hours after the violation, the\n\ncharge shall be dismissed without payment of court costs.\n\nJ. Unless a substitute license is purchased as provided for by\n\nsubsection H of this section, any resident convicted of violating\n\nthe provisions of this section shall be punished by the imposition\n\nof a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more\n\nthan Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or by imprisonment in the county\n\njail for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both.\n\nK. Unless a substitute license is purchased as provided for by\n\nsubsection H of this section, any nonresident convicted of violating\n\nthe provisions of this section shall be punished by the imposition\n\nof a fine of not less than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) nor more\n\nthan Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the\n\ncounty jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both.\n\nL.
