Except as otherwise provided in the Oklahoma Wildlife\n\nConservation Code, no person may hunt or take any waterfowl during\n\nthe open season on waterfowl unless the person has first obtained an\n\nOklahoma waterfowl hunting stamp or license from the Director or\n\nauthorized agents of the Director. Each person shall have the stamp\n\nor license in their possession when hunting or taking any waterfowl.\n\nB. Persons excepted from the Oklahoma waterfowl hunting stamp\n\nor license requirement of this section are:\n\n1. Legal residents of Oklahoma under eighteen (18) years of\n\nage; and\n\n2. Legal residents of Oklahoma sixty-five (65) years of age or\n\nolder.\n\nC. The Oklahoma waterfowl hunting stamp fee and waterfowl\n\nlicense shall be for:\n\n1. Residents eighteen (18) years of age or older – Twenty\n\nDollars ($20.00); and\n\n2. Nonresidents eighteen (18) years of age or older – Thirty\n\nDollars ($30.00).\n\nD. 1. The collection and remittance procedures applicable to\n\nhunting license fees under this title shall apply to waterfowl stamp\n\nor license fees.\n\n2. The waterfowl stamp or license issued pursuant to this\n\nsection shall expire on June 30 of each year.\n\nE. The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission may prescribe,\n\nby regulation, the form, design and manner of issuance, if any, of\n\nthe waterfowl stamp, which could include the selection of art for\n\nsuch stamp from an art contest regulated by the Commission.\n\nF. 1. Any person arrested for hunting or taking any waterfowl\n\nduring the open season on waterfowl without a valid Oklahoma\n\nwaterfowl hunting stamp or license as required by the provisions of\n\nsubsection A of this section may purchase a substitute temporary\n\nthirty-day stamp or license from the arresting game warden in lieu\n\nof posting bond. Proof of hunter safety certification shall not be\n\nrequired for the temporary substitute stamp or license. The fee for\n\na substitute stamp or license purchased pursuant to the provisions\n\nof this subsection shall be:\n\na. for legal residents – One Hundred Dollars ($100.00),\n\nand\n\nb. for nonresidents – One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars\n\n($175.00).\n\n2. The fees from the temporary stamp and license purchased\n\npursuant to the provisions of this subsection shall be deposited in\n\nthe Wildlife Conservation Fund, to be used exclusively in this\n\nstate, for the purpose of developing, managing, preserving,\n\nrestoring and maintaining wetland habitats and for the conservation\n\nand management of waterfowl and ecologically related species.\n\nG. Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of\n\nthis section shall be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty-\n\nfive Dollars ($25.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).\n\nH.
