No person may set or use at any time any poison, cyanide\n\ncoyote getter, or other similar device, using cyanide gas or other\n\npoisonous gas as the lethal agent, for the purpose of killing\n\npredators, except in accordance with the following conditions and\n\nprocedures:\n\n1. Signs of a size and character and with wording to be\n\ndetermined by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and\n\nForestry indicating the presence of cyanide coyote getters or other\n\nsimilar device using cyanide gas or other poisonous gas as the\n\nlethal agent, shall be posted on all properties where the coyote\n\ngetters are set to the right and left of all entrances from public\n\nroads and highways and from adjacent lands.\n\n2. All signs as required by this article shall be in place\n\ntwenty-four (24) hours before the devices are set and shall be\n\nproperly maintained in place during the permission period herein\n\nprovided.\n\n3. A game warden may issue a permit for the setting of such\n\ndevices and such permit must be obtained prior to the setting of\n\nsuch devices. Each permit shall be made in triplicate, the original\n\nto be retained by the landowner concerned, one copy retained by the\n\ngame warden and the other copy mailed immediately to the Department\n\nfor its permanent record.\n\n4. In applying for a permit, the landowner shall state the\n\nnumber of devices to be set and the approximate location to the\n\nnearest forty (40) acres.\n\n5. All signs required by this section shall be removed at the\n\nend of the permission period, unless the permit is renewed prior to\n\nthe expiration date thereof.\n\n6. No predator control devices shall be on any property without\n\nthe written permission of the record owner or lessee thereof.\n\nB. Predatory control conducted by the Oklahoma Department of\n\nAgriculture, Food, and Forestry or the Department of Wildlife\n\nConservation shall be exempt from the provisions of paragraphs 3 and\n\n4 of subsection A of this section.\n\nC. The Director of the Department of Wildlife Conservation may\n\nissue depredation permits to landowners for control of any nuisance\n\nwildlife.\n\nD.
