A taxidermy specimen of native wildlife may be sold at an\n\nestate sale only if the specimen is a part of the personal property\n\nof an owner whose estate is being liquidated at the sale and the\n\nDirector of Wildlife Conservation grants written permission prior to\n\nthe sale. The Director may require submission of any documents or\n\ninformation as is necessary to determine the reason for and type of\n\nsale that is being conducted.\n\nB. 1. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a\n\ntaxidermy specimen of:\n\na. privately owned domesticated animal as defined in\n\nSection 2-108.1 of Title 29 of the Oklahoma Statutes,\n\nb. farmed cervidae from a farmed cervidae facility licensed\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Farmed Cervidae Act,\n\nc. any exotic wildlife as defined in Section 2-109.1 of\n\nTitle 29 of the Oklahoma Statutes,\n\nd. any wildlife or domesticated animal legally harvested\n\nfrom a commercial hunting area licensed pursuant to\n\nSection 4-106 of Title 29 of the Oklahoma Statues, and\n\ne. any native wildlife, the selling, buying, or trading of\n\nwhich is otherwise allowed by state law.\n\n2. The provisions of this section shall not be construed to\n\nallow the selling, buying or trading of a taxidermy specimen of any\n\nwildlife which is otherwise prohibited by state law or by federal\n\nlaw or regulation, including but not limited to migratory birds.\n\nC. For purposes of this section:\n\n1. “Estate sale” means a type of sale or auction to dispose of\n\na substantial portion of the real or personal property owned by a\n\nperson who is recently deceased or owned by a person who must\n\ndispose of property to facilitate a move into a situation where the\n\nperson will be unable to keep the property, such as to an assisted\n\nliving facility, retirement community, rest home or other living\n\nquarters. Estate sales may be held by the survivors of a deceased,\n\nby a person unable to keep the property because of a move, ordered\n\nby a court or mandated in the will of a deceased.
