Stat. tit. 29, § 29-5-601","heading":"Wildlife breeders' sale and transportation of wildlife -","body":"Tags for selling - Invoices - Records.\n\nA. All licensed wildlife breeders may sell and transport any\n\nlive wildlife for propagation purposes, may sell and transport\n\nminnows for bait if such are lawfully possessed or raised pursuant\n\nto this Code, and may sell and transport any live or dead wildlife\n\nfor food upon compliance with the hereinafter set forth subsections.\n\nB. All wildlife sold for food must be tagged with a metal tag\n\nto be supplied by the Department at reasonable prices, such tag to\n\ncontain such information as the Director may require.\n\nC. All tags shall remain attached to the individual animal,\n\nbird or fish until prepared for the consumer and may not be used\n\nmore than once.\n\nD. The breeder must keep permanent records for up to five (5)\n\nyears on all wildlife sold and raised and shall contain:\n\n1. The kind and number of species sold, killed, given away,\n\ntransported or shipped;\n\n2. The name and address of the recipient or consignee; and\n\n3. The date of the transaction.\n\nE. Such records shall be available for inspection at all\n\nreasonable times by authorized representatives of the Department.\n\nF. All wildlife dealers may retain their wildlife for a period\n\nof up to one hundred twenty (120) days after their licenses expire.\n\nG.
