Except as specifically provided, no person may use at any\n\ntime in the waters of this state for taking, catching, capturing or\n\nkilling any game or nongame fish any of the following\n\ninstrumentalities:\n\n1. A trotline or throwline, except when:\n\na. the name and address of the owner are attached thereto\n\nwhen used in lakes of over one hundred (100) surface\n\nacres or navigable rivers and streams;\n\nb. no more than three such lines are used at any one time\n\nby a person;\n\nc. no more than a total of one hundred hooks are used by\n\na person, such hooks being spaced at least twenty-four\n\n(24) inches apart;\n\nd. such line is not set within three (3) feet of the\n\nsurface of any reservoir at any point beyond six (6)\n\nfeet from either point of attachment, provided that\n\nthis provision shall not apply to waters which are\n\nless than three (3) feet in depth in Salt Plains and\n\nFort Supply Reservoirs;\n\ne. each line is attended and inspected or removed once\n\nevery twenty-four (24) hours; and\n\nf. the main line is constructed of nonmetallic material.\n\n2. A limbline or jugline to which hooks are attached, except\n\nwhen:\n\na. the name and address of the owner are attached thereto\n\nwhen used in lakes of over one hundred (100) surface\n\nacres or navigable rivers and streams; and\n\nb. each line is attended once every twenty-four (24)\n\nhours.\n\nB. No person shall take fish from a trotline, throwline,\n\njugline, or limbline of another person without permission from that\n\nperson.\n\nC. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this\n\nsection shall be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty-five\n\nDollars ($25.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).\n\nD. Persons exempt from the prohibitions of this section shall\n\nbe:\n\n1. The Director, department employees or authorized agents when\n\ncatching, taking or killing any fish for propagation, management or\n\nscientific purposes; and\n\n2.
