Stat. tit. 3, § 3-101","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n1. “Airport” means an area of land or water that is used or\n\nintended to be used for the landing and taking off of aircraft\n\nincluding its buildings and facilities, if any;\n\n2. “Airport hazard” means any structure, object of natural\n\ngrowth or use of land which obstructs the airspace required for the\n\nflight of aircraft in landing or taking off at an airport or is\n\notherwise hazardous to such landing or taking off of aircraft;\n\n3. “Airport hazard area” means any area of land or water upon\n\nwhich an airport hazard might be established if not prevented as\n\nprovided in this act;\n\n4. “Heliport” means an area of land, water, or a structure used\n\nor intended to be used for the landing and takeoff of helicopters;\n\n5. “Political subdivision” means any municipality, city, town,\n\nvillage, or county;\n\n6. “Person” means any individual, firm, copartnership,\n\ncorporation, company, association, joint stock association, or body\n\npolitic, and includes any trustee, receiver, assignee, or other\n\nsimilar representative thereof;\n\n7. “Structure” means any object constructed or installed by\n\nman, including, but without limitation, buildings, towers,\n\nsmokestacks, and overhead transmission lines;\n\n8. “Tree” means any object of natural growth; and\n\n9. “VTOL aircraft” means an aircraft which has vertical takeoff\n\nand landing capability.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0e59893c9a4bca9d1bfe0fbf1d9ee8eea10e0a5149997f05ed2f9e1a00050e3c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-100","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
