Stat. tit. 3, § 3-110","heading":"Board of Adjustment","body":"(1) All airport zoning regulations adopted under this act shall\n\nprovide for a Board of Adjustment to have and exercise the following\n\npowers:\n\n(a) To hear and decide appeals from any order, requirement,\n\ndecision, or determination made by the administrative agency in the\n\nenforcement of the airport zoning regulations, as provided in\n\nSection 8.\n\n(b) To hear and decide any special exceptions to the terms of\n\nthe airport zoning regulations upon which such Board may be required\n\nto pass under such regulations.\n\n(c) To hear and decide specific variances under Section 7(2).\n\n(2) Where a Zoning Board of Appeals or Adjustment already\n\nexists, it may be appointed as the Board of Adjustments. Otherwise,\n\nthe Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) members, each to\n\nbe appointed for a term of three (3) years, by the authority\n\nadopting the regulations and to be removable by the appointing\n\nauthority for cause, upon written charges and after public hearing.\n\n(3) The concurring vote of a majority of the members of the\n\nBoard of Adjustment shall be sufficient to reverse any order,\n\nrequirement, decision, or determination of the administrative\n\nagency, or to decide in favor of the applicant on any matter upon\n\nwhich it is required to pass under the airport zoning regulations,\n\nor to effect any variation in such regulations.\n\n(4) The Board shall adopt rules in accordance with the\n\nprovisions of the ordinance or resolution by which it was created.\n\nMeetings of the Board shall be held at the call of the chairman and\n\nat such other times as the Board may determine. The chairman, or in\n\nhis absence, the acting chairman, may administer oaths and compel\n\nthe attendance of witnesses. All hearings of the Board shall be\n\nsubject to the Open Meeting Act. The Board shall keep minutes of\n\nits proceedings, showing the vote of each member upon each question,\n\nor, if absent or failing to vote, indicating such fact, and shall\n\nkeep records of its examinations and other official actions, all of\n\nwhich shall immediately be filed in the office of the Board and\n\nshall be a public record.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"600f01657444e85dd235acbfe1c43789e2308611ba119b7dd363d5b78262d3fc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-109","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
