Stat. tit. 3, § 3-254.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Sections 254.2 through 254.5 of this title:\n\n1. “Agreement” means any written or oral contracts or\n\nagreements between a dealer and a manufacturer that were in effect\n\nprior to July 1, 2007, and all revisions, modifications, extensions,\n\namendments and replacements of such agreements, that grant the\n\ndealer the right to sell new aircraft manufactured by the\n\nmanufacturer and either to sell aircraft parts or to perform\n\nservice, maintenance, or warranty work for the manufacturer;\n\n2. “Dealer” means any entity that was incorporated or otherwise\n\ndoing business in this state prior to July 1, 2007, and that is a\n\ndealer, licensee, franchisee, or other authorized representative of\n\nan aircraft manufacturer which is authorized by an aircraft\n\nmanufacturer to sell new aircraft and either to sell parts or to\n\nperform service, maintenance or warranty work for the aircraft\n\nmanufacturer. All successors and assigns of a dealer, together with\n\nall persons who purchase assets, business or ownership of a dealer\n\nshall also be considered dealers. With the exception of paragraph 3\n\nof this section, the provisions of this section and Sections 254.3\n\nthrough 254.5 of this title shall not apply to any entity authorized\n\nto sell only new piston-powered aircraft manufactured or distributed\n\nby a manufacturer, notwithstanding the authorization of that entity\n\nto sell parts or to perform service, maintenance or warranty work\n\nfor the aircraft manufacturer;\n\n3. “Manufacturer” means a manufacturer or distributor of new\n\naircraft; and\n\n4. “New aircraft” means a newly manufactured aircraft in its\n\nentirety.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2830488a0e0a8106064ae2b34c0d1e296dec403b0b127a1d81227c9d4942103b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-254.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-254.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
