Stat. tit. 3, § 3-271","heading":"Possession of airman's certificate and medical certificate","body":"while operating aircraft.\n\nThe required airman's certificate and medical certificate as\n\napplicable shall be kept in the personal possession of the\n\ncertificate holder when he is operating aircraft within this state\n\nand shall be presented for inspection upon the demand of any peace\n\nofficer of this state or any federal law enforcement officer. Any\n\nperson arrested for a violation of this section shall be released by\n\nthe arresting officer upon personal recognizance if the arrested\n\nperson signs a written promise to appear as provided for on the\n\ncitation issued by the arresting officer. The arresting officer\n\nshall record the arraignment date and time on the citation.
