There is hereby created within the Department of\n\nTransportation the Oklahoma Advanced Mobility Pilot Program. The\n\nprogram shall focus on developing and improving on transportation\n\ntechnologies, including but not limited to advanced ground\n\ntransportation, autonomous ground vehicles, advanced air mobility\n\nvehicles, and autonomous electric vertical take-off and landing\n\n(eVTOL) vehicles. The program will also look to enhance the\n\ninteraction between modes of transportation to ensure the state is\n\nbest prepared for the interconnected transportation technologies of\n\nthe future.\n\nB. The Department of Transportation shall identify and select\n\ngovernment entities in this state that are eligible to serve as\n\npilot programs for the adoption of advanced mobility technologies.\n\nEligible entities will be cities, counties and tribal governments.\n\nPriority will be given to entities that have been selected to\n\nparticipate in transportation-related pilot programs by the United\n\nStates Department of Transportation after January 1, 2017.\n\nC. The Secretary of Transportation shall create the Advanced\n\nMobility Program Advisory Council comprised of nine (9) members\n\nselected by the Secretary of Transportation to represent a diverse\n\nset of stakeholders involved with the adoption of advanced mobility\n\ntechnologies. The Council shall provide policy, regulatory, and any\n\nother necessary recommendations to the Secretary of Transportation\n\non issues related to the adoption of advanced mobility technologies.\n\nD. Subject to the availability of funds, the Program shall make\n\ntwo matching grant awards each year to the selected pilot programs\n\nto support program activities. The awards shall be up to Five\n\nHundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) each and shall require a\n\ndirect one-to-one match for nonstate funds invested or received by\n\nthe pilot including funds from the pilot entity.\n\nE.
