Stat. tit. 3, § 3-412","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Air Service Development Grant Program:\n\n1. \"Aircraft\" means any contrivance now known, or hereafter\n\ninvented, used, or designed for navigation of or flight in the air\n\nor airspace;\n\n2. \"Airport\" means an area of land or water that is used, or\n\nintended to be used, for the landing and takeoff of aircraft, and\n\nbuildings and facilities, if any;\n\n3. \"Airport sponsor\" means the owner of a publicly owned\n\nairport;\n\n4. \"Commercial air service\" means the operation of a company\n\nthat provides scheduled air transport services to the state for\n\ntraveling passengers;\n\n5. \"Commercial service airport\" means an airport meeting the\n\ncurrent Federal Aviation Administration definition for commercial\n\nservice airport;\n\n6. \"Municipality\" means any incorporated city, village, or town\n\nof this state and any county or political subdivision or district in\n\nthis state, or any public trust thereof, which is, or may be,\n\nauthorized by law to acquire, establish, construct, maintain,\n\nimprove, and operate airports, airstrips, and aeronautical\n\nnavigation facilities;\n\n7. \"New airline service\" means a commercial service carrier or\n\ncompany that provides regularly scheduled new air transport services\n\nto the state for traveling passengers and freight;\n\n8. \"Nonstop flight\" means a flight made without intermediate\n\nstops between source and destination;\n\n9. \"Primary airport\" means a commercial service airport that\n\nhas more than ten thousand (10,000) passenger boardings each year;\n\nand\n\n10. \"State\" or \"this state\" means the State of Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"526902da92efdd88e2369a5608ae1f53119e3060b671f753de1ab4753a34feb4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-411","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-413"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
