There is hereby created, within the Oklahoma Department of\n\nAerospace and Aeronautics, the Oklahoma Aircraft and Rocket Engine\n\nTesting Development Grant Program to offer financial assistance by\n\ngrant to private or public entities for the purpose of expanding the\n\naircraft or rocket engine testing capabilities of this state and\n\ndeveloping aircraft or rocket engine testing infrastructure. Grant\n\nfunding shall be administered based on the potential for a specific\n\nproject to enhance the aviation, aerospace, and space propulsion\n\nindustry of this state. A grant under this program shall be a one-\n\ntime award.\n\nB. Public, private, and nonprofit entities within this state\n\nthat have sufficient financial and management capacity to complete\n\nthe requested project are eligible for funding under this program.\n\nApplicants shall provide the following information:\n\n1. Airline or industry support as evidenced by a letter or\n\nother communication directly from the entity stating its support for\n\nthe project;\n\n2. The ability to provide a minimum of forty percent (40%)\n\nmatching funds for the project; and\n\n3. A proposal summary that shall include any background\n\ninformation or history with aircraft or rocket engine testing and\n\ndevelopment, project description, timeline for completion of\n\nproject, and estimated budget for the entire project.\n\nC. A grant agreement shall be made between any awardee and the\n\nDepartment. The grant agreement shall provide for the conditions of\n\ndisbursement, shall include a provision requiring the repayment of\n\nawarded funds if the terms are not met, and shall include a\n\nrequirement for awardees to provide ongoing quarterly reports\n\ndetailing activity related to the project.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"eab7a30e79179deb8b5c2d68d1624b65c279199a4b51adeaef2b2144b4b01d15","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-501","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-503"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
