Stat. tit. 3, § 3-538","heading":"Application to Supreme Court for approval of bonds —","body":"Jurisdiction — Notice of hearing — Protest — Determination of\n\nvalidity.\n\nThe Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority is authorized\n\nin its discretion to file an application with the Supreme Court for\n\nthe approval of any bonds to be issued hereunder, and exclusive\n\noriginal jurisdiction is hereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to\n\nhear and determine each such application. It shall be the duty of\n\nthe Court to give such applications precedence over the other\n\nbusiness of the Court and to consider and pass upon the applications\n\nand any protests which may be filed thereto as speedily as possible.\n\nNotice of the hearing on each application shall be given by a notice\n\npublished in a newspaper of general circulation in this state that\n\non a day named, the Authority will ask the Court to hear its\n\napplication and approve the bonds. Such notice shall inform all\n\npersons interested that they may file protests against the issuance\n\nof the bonds and be present at the hearing and contest the legality\n\nthereof. Such notice shall be published one time not less than ten\n\n(10) days prior to the date named for the hearing and the hearing\n\nmay be adjourned from time to time in the discretion of the Court.\n\nIf the Court shall be satisfied that the bonds have been properly\n\nauthorized in accordance with the Oklahoma Space Industry\n\nDevelopment Act and that when issued, they will constitute valid\n\nobligations in accordance with their terms, the Court shall render\n\nits written opinion approving the bonds and shall fix the time\n\nwithin which a petition for rehearing may be filed. The decision of\n\nthe Court shall be a judicial determination of the validity of the\n\nbonds, shall be conclusive as to the Authority, its officers and\n\nagents, and thereafter the bonds so approved and the revenues\n\npledged to their payment shall be incontestable in any court in this\n\nstate.","path":["OK Code","Title 3"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8e1e000391c39383ec47cfbc9dff9fa12752ced381077a013802492b744683b9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-537","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3-3-539"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
