Stat. tit. 3, § 3-65.16v2","heading":"Public purpose, county and municipal purpose","body":"The acquisition of any land or interest therein pursuant to the\n\nMunicipal Airports Act, the planning, acquisition, establishment,\n\ndevelopment, construction, improvement, maintenance, equipment,\n\noperation, regulation, protection and policing of airports,\n\nvertiports, and air navigation facilities, including the acquisition\n\nor elimination of airport hazards, and the exercise of any other\n\npowers herein granted to municipalities and other public agencies,\n\nto be severally or jointly exercised, are hereby declared to be\n\npublic and governmental functions, exercised for a public purpose,\n\nand matters of public necessity; and in the case of any county, are\n\ndeclared to be county functions and purposes as well as public and\n\ngovernmental; and in the case of any municipality other than a\n\ncounty, are declared to be municipal functions and purposes as well\n\nas public and governmental.
