Stat. tit. 3, § 3-65.3","heading":"Eminent domain","body":"In the acquisition of property by eminent domain proceedings\n\nauthorized by this act, the municipality shall proceed in the manner\n\nnow provided by law for the exercise of the right of eminent domain\n\nby railroad corporations in this state. The fact that the property\n\nto be acquired by eminent domain proceedings was acquired by its\n\nowner by eminent domain proceedings shall not prevent its\n\nacquisition by such proceedings by the municipality. For the\n\npurpose of making surveys and examinations relative to any eminent\n\ndomain proceedings, it shall be lawful to enter upon any land, doing\n\nno unnecessary damage. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other\n\nstatute or of any applicable municipal charter, the municipality may\n\ntake possession of any property to be acquired by eminent domain\n\nproceedings at such time after the commencement of such proceedings\n\nas is now provided by law.
