Stat. tit. 3, § 3-86","heading":"Public and governmental functions","body":"The acquisition of any lands or interest therein pursuant to\n\nthis act, the planning, acquisition, establishment, construction,\n\nimprovement, maintenance, equipment, and operation of airports and\n\nair navigation facilities, whether by the state separately or\n\njointly with any municipality or municipalities, and the exercise of\n\nany other powers herein granted to the Commission are hereby\n\ndeclared to be public and governmental functions, exercised for a\n\npublic purpose, and matters of public necessity.
