Stat. tit. 30, § 30-3-216","heading":"Discharge of conservator - Accounting","body":"A conservator may be discharged by the court upon the\n\napplication of the ward or otherwise upon such notice to the\n\nconservator and next of kin of said ward as the court may determine\n\nreasonable and proper, when it appears that the conservatorship is\n\nno longer necessary. In the event of the death, resignation or\n\nremoval of a conservator, the court, on the application of the\n\nformer ward and upon such notice to the next of kin of said ward as\n\nthe court may order, may certify that said ward is discharged by\n\noperation of law if it appears that the conservatorship of said ward\n\nis no longer necessary.
