Stat. tit. 30, § 30-4-606","heading":"Application for removal - Requirements","body":"The application must be made upon ten (10) days' notice to the\n\nresident personal representative or guardian, if there be such, and\n\nupon such application the nonresident guardian must produce and file\n\na certificate, under the hand of the clerk, judge, surrogate or\n\nother authorized officer, and the seal of the court from which his\n\nappointment was derived, showing:\n\n1. A transcript of the record of his appointment.\n\n2. That he has entered upon the discharge of his duties.\n\n3. That he is entitled by the laws of the state, territory or\n\ncountry of his appointment to the possession of the estate of the\n\nward; or must produce and file a certificate under the hand and seal\n\nof the clerk, judge, surrogate or other authorized officer of the\n\ncourt having jurisdiction in the country of his residence, of the\n\nestates of persons under guardianship, or of the highest court in\n\nsuch state, territory or country, that by the laws of such country\n\nthe applicant is entitled to the custody of the estate of his ward\n\nwithout the appointment of any court.\n\nUpon such application, unless good cause to the contrary be\n\nshown, the judge of the district court must make an order granting\n\nto such guardian leave to take and remove the property of his ward\n\nto the state, territory or place of his residence, which is\n\nauthority to him to sue for and receive the same in his own name,\n\nfor the use and benefit of his ward.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 6575.
