Stat. tit. 30, § 30-4-705","heading":"Management of estate - Income applied for support of","body":"ward - Sale of realty.\n\nEvery guardian must manage the estate of his ward frugally and\n\nwithout waste, and apply the income and profits thereof, as far as\n\nmay be necessary, for the comfortable and suitable maintenance and\n\nsupport of the ward, and his family, if there be any; and if such\n\nincome and profits be insufficient for that purpose, the guardian\n\nmay sell the real estate, upon obtaining an order of the district\n\ncourt therefor, as provided, and must apply the proceeds of such\n\nsale, as far as may be necessary, for the maintenance and support of\n\nthe ward and his family, if there be any.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 6544.
