Stat. tit. 34, § 34-21","heading":"Resubmission, when","body":"Where there are competing measures and neither receives a\n\nmajority of the votes cast for and against the one receiving the\n\ngreatest number of votes shall, if it has received more than one-\n\nthird (1/3) of the votes cast for and against both bills, be\n\nsubmitted by itself at the next general election. If two or more\n\nconflicting laws shall be approved by the people at the same\n\nelection, the law receiving the greatest number of affirmative votes\n\nshall be paramount in all particulars as to which there is a\n\nconflict, even though such law may not have received the greatest\n\nmajority of affirmative votes.
