Stat. tit. 36, § 36-1161","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. “Adverse tier placement” means being subject to the rates of\n\nany tier with less coverage or higher premiums than the tier within\n\nwhich the insured is currently insured;\n\n2. “Federal government-sponsored health insurance program”\n\nmeans the TriCare program providing coverage for civilian dependents\n\nof military personnel;\n\n3. “Health plan” means any insurance company or health\n\nmaintenance organization which issues individual coverage to a\n\nresident of this state;\n\n4. “Individual coverage” means health insurance or health\n\nmaintenance organization coverage issued on other than a group or\n\nblanket basis, including an individual coverage containing coverage\n\nfor a spouse, dependent, or both;\n\n5. “Insureds” means persons enrolled under individual coverage\n\nissued by a health plan.
