If, after a hearing or waiver of the right to a hearing, the\n\nInsurance Commissioner shall determine that the method of\n\ncompetition or the act or practice in question is defined in Section\n\n1204 of this title and that the person complained of has engaged in\n\na method of competition, act or practice in violation of this\n\narticle, the Commissioner shall reduce these findings to writing and\n\nshall issue and cause to be served upon the person charged with the\n\nviolation an order requiring the person to cease and desist from\n\nengaging in such method of competition, act or practice.\n\nB. Until the expiration of the time allowed under subsection A\n\nof Section 1208 of this title for filing a petition for review, if\n\nno such petition has been duly filed within such time, or if a\n\npetition for review has been filed within such time, then until the\n\ntranscript of the record in the proceeding has been filed in the\n\ncourt, as hereinafter provided, the Commissioner may at any time,\n\nupon such notice and in such manner as the Commissioner shall deem\n\nproper, modify or set aside in whole or in part any order issued by\n\nthe Commissioner under this section.\n\nC. After the expiration of the time allowed for filing a\n\npetition for review, if no petition has been duly filed within such\n\ntime, the Commissioner may at any time, after notice and opportunity\n\nfor hearing, reopen and later, modify or set aside, in whole or in\n\npart, any order issued by the Commissioner under this section\n\nwhenever in the Commissioner's opinion conditions of fact or of law\n\nhas so changed as to require such action or if the public interest\n\nshall so require.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4c004c991c8d32751a94a4854f176d0e2bf94e004d85cde2e982f5c5b8348ad2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1206","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
