Stat. tit. 36, § 36-121","heading":"Computation of time periods","body":"In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by this\n\ntitle, by the rules of the Insurance Commissioner, or by any\n\napplicable statute, the day of the act, event or default from which\n\nthe designated period of time begins to run shall not be included.\n\nThe last day of the period so computed shall be included, unless it\n\nis a Saturday, a Sunday, a legal holiday as defined by the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes or any day when the office of the Commissioner does not\n\nremain open for public business until 4:00 p.m., in which event the\n\nperiod runs until the end of the next day when the office of the\n\nCommissioner is open until 4:00 p.m. When the period of time\n\nprescribed or allowed is less than seven (7) days, intermediate\n\nSaturdays, Sundays and legal holidays shall be excluded in the\n\ncomputation.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"51ad1158ce8f9211a3d3383f8daf85e07779f964ba1e728997e435c05d9764ca","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1209","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
