Stat. tit. 36, § 36-1415.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act, the term:\n\n1. \"Exchange\" means a state, federal, or partnership exchange\n\nor marketplace operating in Oklahoma pursuant to Section 1311 or\n\nSection 1321 of the federal act;\n\n2. \"Federal act\" means the federal Patient Protection and\n\nAffordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), as amended by the federal\n\nHealth Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Public Law\n\n111-152), and regulations or guidance issued under those acts;\n\n3. \"Navigator\" means a person, including assistor, application\n\ncounselor or other person, certified or designated by an exchange to\n\nfacilitate enrollment in health benefit plans offered by an exchange\n\nor to perform any of the other acts described in Section 1311(i) of\n\nthe federal act. Such term does not include a person licensed as a\n\nhealth insurance producer under the Oklahoma Producer Licensing Act.\n\nFor the purposes of this act, if an organization or business entity\n\nserves as a navigator, an individual performing navigator duties for\n\nthat organization or business entity shall be considered to be\n\nacting in the capacity of a navigator;\n\n4. \"Navigator entity\" means an organization or business entity\n\nwhich employs or oversees the activities of a navigator or which has\n\nreceived and possesses funding for the purpose of employing or\n\noverseeing navigators;\n\n5. \"Personally identifiable information\" means information\n\nwhich can identify an individual including, but not limited to,\n\nname, birth date, social security number, official state- or\n\ngovernment-issued driver license or identification number, alien\n\nregistration number, government passport number, employer or\n\ntaxpayer identification number; and\n\n6. \"Registered navigator\" means a navigator who has applied,\n\nbeen approved, and maintains approval under the requirements of this\n\nact.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c873d038ead6e8aeea2e4995e4f91394eec4435f6e37fe283799a6a4365328c1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1274","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1415.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
