Stat. tit. 36, § 36-1629","heading":"Guaranteed or reinsured student loans","body":"Any insurer may make and invest in student loans guaranteed or\n\nreinsured as to principal and interest by a state or federally\n\nsponsored higher education assistance corporation, to the extent of\n\nsuch guaranty or reinsurance, or by a private nonprofit or for\n\nprofit student loan insurance guarantor or reinsurer which has net\n\nworth of not less than Thirty-five Million Dollars ($35,000,000.00)\n\nand which has a financial rating of BBB or better from Standard and\n\nPoor’s or Moody’s rating agencies.
