Stat. tit. 36, § 36-1646","heading":"Authority to suspend, revoke or refuse to renew license","body":"or authority to do business.\n\nWhenever it appears to the Commissioner that any person has\n\ncommitted a violation of this act which makes the continued\n\noperation of an insurer contrary to the interests of policyholders\n\nor the public, the Commissioner may, after giving notice and an\n\nopportunity to be heard, suspend, revoke or refuse to renew the\n\ninsurer's license or authority to do business in this state for such\n\nperiod as the Commissioner finds is required for the protection of\n\npolicyholders or the public.
