Stat. tit. 36, § 36-1707","heading":"Release of deposits","body":"Any deposit made in this state under the Insurance Code shall be\n\nreleased and returned:\n\n1. To the insurer upon extinguishment by reinsurance or\n\notherwise of substantially all liability of the insurer for the\n\nsecurity of which the deposit is held upon proper request by the\n\ninsurer and after financial review of the insurer proving generally\n\nacceptable financial conditions;\n\n2. To the insurer to the extent such deposit is in excess of\n\nthe amount required upon proper request by the insurer and after\n\nfinancial review of the insurer proving generally acceptable\n\nfinancial conditions; or\n\n3.
