In a delinquency proceeding begun in this state against a\n\ndomestic insurer, claimants residing in reciprocal states may file\n\nclaims either with the ancillary receivers, if any, in their\n\nrespective states, or with the domiciliary receiver. All such\n\nclaims must be filed on or before the last date fixed for the filing\n\nof claims in the domiciliary delinquency proceedings.\n\nB. Controverted claims belonging to claimants residing in\n\nreciprocal states may either (1) be proved in this state, or (2) if\n\nancillary proceedings have been commenced in such reciprocal states,\n\nmay be proved in those proceedings. In the event a claimant elects\n\nto prove his claim in ancillary proceedings, if notice of the claim\n\nand opportunity to appear and be heard is afforded the domiciliary\n\nreceiver of this state as provided in section 1817 of this article\n\nwith respect to ancillary proceedings in this state, the final\n\nallowance of such claim by the court in the ancillary state shall be\n\naccepted in this state as conclusive as to its amount and shall also\n\nbe accepted as conclusive as to its priority, if any, against\n\nspecial deposits or other security located within the ancillary\n\nstate.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"17301460b2fd9511df2d4b96eb1fb34acff2539c3688e5eaab35abe8a25eb0e5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1915","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-1917"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
