A domestic stock insurer may accept reinsurance for the same\n\nkind of insurance and within the same limits as it is authorized to\n\ntransact direct, unless such reinsurance is prohibited by its\n\narticles of incorporation.\n\nB. A domestic stock insurer may reinsure all or substantially\n\nall its business in force, or substantially all of a major class\n\nthereof, with another insurer by an agreement of bulk reinsurance;\n\nbut no such agreement shall become effective unless filed with and\n\napproved in writing by the Commissioner.\n\nC. The Commissioner shall approve such agreement within a\n\nreasonable time after such filing unless the Commissioner finds that\n\nthe agreement would substantially reduce the protection or service\n\nto the policyholders of the insurer.
