Stat. tit. 36, § 36-2401","heading":"Mutual benefit associations legalized","body":"All associations or companies or corporations doing an\n\nassessment life, health or accident insurance business in this state\n\non the first day of January, 1925, on the assessment or mutual\n\nbenefit plan, known as group or circle associations, or otherwise,\n\nand defined in this article as mutual benefit associations, are, by\n\nthis article, legalized, ratified and confirmed and said\n\nassociations, companies or corporations may continue to do business\n\nin this state if they comply with this article through their\n\ncharters and bylaws and they accept the conditions of and, in other\n\nrespects, comply with the provisions thereof.
