All assets shall be held, invested and disbursed for the use\n\nand benefit of the society and no member or beneficiary shall have\n\nor acquire individual rights therein or become entitled to any\n\napportionment on the surrender of any part thereof, except as\n\nprovided in the benefit contract.\n\nB. A society may create, maintain, invest, disburse and apply\n\nany special fund or funds necessary to carry out any purpose\n\npermitted by the laws of such society.\n\nC. A society may, pursuant to resolution of its supreme\n\ngoverning body, establish and operate one or more separate accounts\n\nand issue contracts on a variable basis, subject to the provisions\n\nof law regulating life insurers establishing such accounts and\n\nissuing such contracts. To the extent the society deems it\n\nnecessary in order to comply with any applicable federal or state\n\nlaws, or any rules issued thereunder, the society may adopt special\n\nprocedures for the conduct of the business and affairs of a separate\n\naccount; may, for persons having beneficial interests therein,\n\nprovide special voting and other rights, including, without\n\nlimitation, special rights and procedures relating to investment\n\npolicy, investment advisory services, selection of a licensed public\n\naccountant or a certified public accountant holding a permit to\n\npractice accounting, and selection of a committee to manage the\n\nbusiness and affairs of the account; and may issue contracts on a\n\nvariable basis to which subsections B and D of Section 19 of this\n\nact shall not apply.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"aa598b2e5e17a5609d2eb291d3d3bb13912117baa6ffee11c6d6b9272a4bffff","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2721.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2723.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
