Reports shall be filed in accordance with the following\n\nprovisions:\n\n1. Every society transacting business in this state shall\n\nannually, on or before the first day of March, unless for cause\n\nshown such time has been extended by the Insurance Commissioner,\n\nfile with the Commissioner a true statement of its financial\n\ncondition, transactions and affairs for the preceding calendar year\n\nand pay the fee therefor stated in Section 321 of this title. The\n\nstatement shall be in general form and context as approved by the\n\nNational Association of Insurance Commissioners for fraternal\n\nbenefit societies as supplemented by the Commissioner by rule.\n\n2. As part of the annual statement herein required, each\n\nsociety shall, on or before the first day of March, file with the\n\nCommissioner a valuation of its certificates in force on the\n\nimmediately preceding December 31; provided, the Commissioner may,\n\nin his or her discretion for cause shown, extend the time for filing\n\nsuch valuation for not more than two (2) calendar months. Such\n\nvaluation shall be done in accordance with the standards specified\n\nin Section 2725.1 of this title. Such valuation and underlying data\n\nshall be certified by a qualified actuary or, at the expense of the\n\nsociety, verified by the actuary of the department of insurance of\n\nthe state of domicile of the society.\n\nB. A society neglecting to file the annual statement in the\n\nform and within the time provided by this section shall forfeit One\n\nHundred Dollars ($100.00) for each day during which such neglect\n\ncontinues, and, on notice by the Insurance Commissioner to that\n\neffect, its authority to do business in this state shall cease while\n\nsuch default continues.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2e6a5af5747cada15a742d4f6c531e522ff0a18b3ba5b3e107894e099544daa4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2725.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2727.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
